THEY CAN'T HELP IT |

Professor L. Posen and colleagues from the Warschau Universtity suppressed the gonadal function of eight normal men by administering a gonadotropin-releasing hormone antagonist, while keeping the subjects' testosterone levels in a low-normal range through the use of synthetic testosterone injected directly into the testicles. The researchers say "this design allowed us to prospectively study behavioral changes in normal men during mild reductions (rather than during complete suppression) of serum testosterone levels."
The researchers report that all of their lying subjects displayed a sudden need to tell the truth (about themselves) during the experiment, and were not anxious to do so. This suggests, they say, that "measures of lying are most sensitive to small reductions in circulating testosterone concentrations." |

Once a liar... |
Global research on the subject reports that most of the men treated with reduced testosterone levels showed marked reductions in the urge to lie during the experiment, while only half exhibiting reductions in sexual behaviour. This suggests that "the urge to lie is most sensitive to small reductions in circulating testosterone concentrations." Another conclusion that can be drawn here is that the act of lying is indirectly linked with the sexual desires of the male: the more he is sexually aroused, the more he is inclined to lie. But (alas ladies), once a liar, always a liar. Without the practise of (chemical) castration, we are unable to prevent men from lying. As an educated psychologist, my only sane advise is to take into consideration that most men are lying within the range of 30% to 80% per man per day. When we keep this in mind, we will stay alert and ready to deal with the male's most irritating character flaw. My office annex science lab in Stockholm
